ABOUT THE EXHIBIT

"From My Point of View" captures the essence of place—whether through sweeping vistas, intimate natural details, or abstract impressions of the world. Through diverse styles, colors, and techniques, each artist brings to life the beauty, mood, and energy of the world as they experience it, offering a rich and personal exploration of place. A juried exhibition of the Women Painters of Washington.

NOTE FROM THE CURATOR
Each artist presents a unique perspective on their surroundings, shaped by personal experience, memory, and emotion. Some works celebrate the beauty of untouched nature, while others reflect urban landscapes, fleeting moments of light, or the changing seasons. Whether realistic or abstract, serene or dynamic, these pieces invite viewers to see the world through the artist’s eyes and consider how place influences perception.
