Colleen Hoffenbacker’s recent work now on view in Fresh Perspectives, a cross-disciplinary showcase of women’s voices presented by Cordata Gallery. Hoffenbacker’s quietly futuristic floral paintings reflect a mixed-media process of visual reasoning shaped by AI and studio invention, where historical Dutch and Renaissance flourishes echo through painterly decisions and contemporary algorithmic tools. A juried exhibition of the Women Painters of Washington curated by Casey Curtis.

“Through this exhibition, we hope to challenge the viewer to see the world through a new lens. At its essence, art is about exploring ideas and expressing oneself in a way that can transcend language and cultural barriers.”
ABOUT WOMEN PAINTERS OF WASHINGTON
Founded in 1930 in Seattle, Women Painters of Washington is one of Puget Sound’s longest-standing arts organizations dedicated to supporting women in the visual arts. With a gallery located in the Columbia Center in downtown Seattle, the group fosters artistic growth, professional development, and statewide juried exhibitions that highlight the diversity and strength of women painters across Washington.
