Cascadia International Women's Film Festival Presents 'Women Rising: Expanding Visions/Diverse Perspectives'

ABOUT THE EXHIBIT

Showcasing the work of women artists from the Pacific Northwest. ‘Women Rising’ reflects the contrasts that define our time: the majesty of nature, climate change and extinction; portraits of inner strength and trauma; abstractions that capture life’s energy and the unfolding of time; sculptures that incorporate recycled and natural materials.

PARTICIPATING ARTISTS

Among the 35 artists from over 500 submissions represented in this year's juried exhibit are Francie Allen, Amy Armitage, Colleen Hoffenbacker, Susan Bennerstrom, Jane Burns, Shirley Erickson, Mira Kamuda, Lorna Liebert, Joy Olney, Seiko Atsuta Purdue and Holly Zwolinski.
